Bio: Dr. Feliz enlisted in the United States Marine Corps at the age 17 during Operation: Desert Storm and served as a Marine Corps infantryman in a landing support battalion after attending training at Camp Pendleton.

While an undergraduate biochemistry major and then a graduate student at U.C. Davis, Dr. Feliz was both a National Institute of Health and National Science Foundation fellow. Dr. Feliz has published in the fields of pediatric renal pathology and neuropathology.

After his training at Stanford University, Dr. Feliz founded MedUSA Pathology with over a decade of experience as the chief of pathology at the Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa.

Dr. Feliz also has served as the director of the laboratory at the Napa State Hospital. While at Napa State Hospital, Dr. Feliz designed the drug diversion panel used in State Department of Mental Hospitals to control the traffic of prescription medications.

Other areas of interest for Dr. Feliz include the medicolegal field and he has been part of the expert reviewer program at the California Medical Board for over a decade. Dr. Feliz is on the medical staff at Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa as well as Healdsburg District Hospital.

Dr. Feliz is board certified in both anatomic and clinical pathology as well as hematopathology and established one of the few flow cytometry laboratories in a community hospital in Northern California that now serves as a regional resource.
